New Year... Pah.

Despite having great hopes for this year, January has been nothing short of disastrous.  Our (ancient) cooker (with only three rings working) is virtually dead, our washing machine is dead and our super-loyal-husky-hair-defeating vacuum is now....dead.  All we're waiting for is the refrigerator to give up the ghost and we'll be complete.

Anyone know why, when you're trying so hard to save, these things happen ALL AT ONCE?  Now we're out of coffee too.  I need Father Christmas to do a u-turn on his sleigh and drop me off some white goods.  I figure even appliances dropped from a great height would be better than what we have now.

This pretty much describes today...and looks pretty similar.

In fact, who am I kidding? Mine looks worse than this.
